Arlington Heights Park District – ARC Addition & Renovation
Lamp Incorporated served as Construction Manager for the addition and renovation of the Arlington Heights Park District’s ARC (Administration and Recreation Center) facility. The project modernized and expanded the existing building to support enhanced district operations, public programming, and long‑term facility performance, while maintaining continuity of park district services throughout construction.
The scope of work included selective demolition and renovation of existing interior spaces, construction of a new building addition, and reconfiguration of administrative, program, and support areas. Interior improvements featured new partitions, finishes, casework, doors, and hardware, flooring, ceilings, and upgraded building systems. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life‑safety systems were extensively modified and enhanced to meet current code requirements, improve energy efficiency, and support the expanded facility footprint.
Exterior and site improvements included utility connections, paving, pedestrian access upgrades, accessibility improvements, and coordination with adjacent park facilities. Lamp managed work within an active operational environment, coordinating multiple trade partners, maintaining safety and access for staff and visitors, and delivering phased construction to minimize disruption.
Working in close collaboration with the Arlington Heights Park District and the project’s design and engineering partners, Lamp delivered a high‑quality facility upgrade that strengthens the district’s ability to serve the community and support future programming needs. (16944, 17038)
