Lamp Incorporated provided construction management services for the 11,927‑square‑foot renovation and modernization of Fire Station No. 2 for the Oswego Fire Protection District, enhancing facility performance, firefighter safety, and emergency response operations.
This project included comprehensive interior renovations, building system upgrades, and full roof replacement within an active fire station environment. Scope elements included reconfigured interior spaces, updated finishes, improvements to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and the installation of a new high‑performance roofing system and associated flashing, insulation, and drainage components to enhance building durability and weather protection.
Construction was executed within a fully operational, 24/7 emergency response facility, requiring a multi-phase construction approach to maintain uninterrupted service. Work was carefully sequenced and coordinated with station personnel, incorporating temporary accommodations, controlled work zones, roofing protection measures, and strategic scheduling of critical systems work to ensure continuous readiness and safety.

Oswego Fire Station No. 1 – Flooring Replacement (LVT)
Lamp Incorporated provided construction management services for the luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring replacement at Fire Station No. 1, supporting the Oswego Fire Protection District’s commitment to maintaining safe, durable, and high‑performance public safety facilities.
The project included the removal and replacement of existing floor finishes with new resilient LVT flooring systems, designed to withstand the demands of a 24/7 emergency response environment. Work also involved substrate preparation, moisture mitigation as needed, and installation of new base and transition materials, ensuring long-term durability, ease of maintenance, and improved aesthetics.
